Electrical and Power Production Systems Specialist

SGS Is seeking an Electrical and Power Production Systems Specialist at Lackland AFB, TX.

Position Description:  Assesses, troubleshoots, and maintains power production, UPS, Alarms, lighting, and electrical power distribution systems. 

Requirements:

Top Secret/SCI required.

Electrical, UPS, and generator systems operations and maintenance knowledge and troubleshooting ability and facility and equipment condition assessment experience. 

Working knowledge of Air Force Civil Engineering operations and work accomplishment system.

Minimum eight (8) years of experience

Exceptional oral and written communication skills

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Microsoft “Project”

Ability to interpret facility drawings, schedules, and specifications

Working knowledge of mechanical, UPS, alarms, and controls systems

Able to perform electrical load and lighting calculations. 

Highly desirable:

Air Force Civil Engineering experience, especially 32E, 3E071 or 3E072 AFSC or cross-trained 3E171 AFSCs experience

MEAR, CEMIRT Team or RED HORSE experience

Bachelor degree in mechanical or electrical engineering
