Systems Analyst

Eagle Integrated Services (EIS) is looking for a qualified Systems Analyst to support our contract at Womack Army Medical Center (WAMC), located on Fort Liberty, North Carolina, in Fayetteville, NC. 

Job Description:

We are seeking a Systems Analyst with a working knowledge of the current Microsoft Server Operating System and other software being utilized at the Defense Health Agency (DHA) or Government offices, to provide day-to-day management and support of the WAMC computing environment.

Responsibilities and Duties: 

• Gather requirements, analyze different solutions and recommend solutions to system problems, implements new systems, develops interfaces with existing systems, and designs site unique software for WAMC.
•  Analyze and evaluate existing or proposed systems and design complex computer systems to process data.
•  Analyze systems and procedures to refine their formulation and convert them to programmable formats.
•  Define systems objectives and prepare system design specifications to meet requirements.
•  Write or update software specifications.
•  Perform quality assurance review of specifications for internal and external delivery.
•  Analyze detail systems factors, including input and output requirements, information flow, hardware and software requirements, and reliability characteristics.
•  Develop analytical tools for use in the design and redesign of systems.
•  Coordinate with client to define problem, determine data availability, report requirements, and resolve system design problems.
•  Provide guidance and work leadership to less experienced analysts and may have supervisory responsibilities.
•  Serve as a technical team or task leader.
•  Analyze user's requirements and ascertains adequacy and completeness of data information. Based on requirements and general description of type reports to be produced develops flow charts, system specifications, and system applications.
•  Evaluate and recommend changes to existing systems in order to improve accuracy, refine processing requirements, and increase efficiency.
•  Maintain current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.
•  Participate in special projects as required.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years experience as a System Analyst supporting software/hardware (Server, PC, and peripherals), operating system (OS) and software infrastructure support.
• Thorough operating knowledge of DoD requirements and implementing DISA security guidelines.
• In depth knowledge managing Microsoft Windows 2008-2012 servers.
• Thorough knowledge with DNS server hosting and managing DHCP servers in an enterprise environment.
• Thorough knowledge of account management for Windows Active Directory.
• Meet the requirements for an IAT Level II position as defined in DOD 8570-01-M

Related experience and/or education:

Candidates MUST have U.S. citizenship or the ability to obtain citizenship and be able to pass a government background investigation.
