ED Ward Clerk (112024.2) PART TIME

ED Ward Clerk opportunity in beautiful Hamilton, Montana!!

Bitterroot Health is seeking candidates to fill a Ward Clerk position in the Emergency Department.   The ED Ward Clerk serves as the administrative clerk for the Emergency Department and Clinical Decision Unit, and is responsible for day to day activities in the department, including answering phones, contacting physicians, coordinating department paperwork, working within the Electronic Medical Record.  Medical terminology and an understanding of the Health Care field necessary.  Multi-tasking skills required.

Minimum Qualifications:  

• Education:  High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Licensures, Certifications, Registrations:  Telemetry Tech Certification once orientation complete (annual recertification required).  CNA preferred
• Job Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:  Computer skills, office equipment functions
• Experience:  Medical office or Healthcare field experience preferred.
