JOB DESCRIPTION

Description

·        Bestway is currently seeking an experienced IT Operations Manager/Analyst to take responsibility for the oversight and management of the critical IT infrastructure within all Bestway store and office locations. The role will require expertise in systems and network administration, telecom management, software and hardware deployment, reporting, managing service providers and any other technology needs requested by the company’s leadership. Currently, this position reports directly to the Chief Information Officer.


Essential Functions

·        Store, Home Office and Cloud Infrastructure Management

o   Including but not limited to: PCs, Servers, Printers, Switches, Routers, Modems, Inventory Scanning Devices, Credit Card Terminals, Receipt printers

·        Working knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and Office-365.

·        Backup Monitoring and File Restore

·        Responsible for Disaster Recovery and Data Loss Prevention Planning and Strategy

·        Escalating Critical Issues to the CIO and/or managed service providers

·        Report Development and Maintenance

·        Ensuring timely delivery of reports to stores and OPS management

·        Requirements gathering and analysis for new reporting and software updates

·        Point of Sale Software and Hardware Support

·        Credit Card Terminals/Payment Processing

·        Intranet/Internal Resource Distribution (Documents, Videos, other files for operations)

·        Special Projects as needed

Work Environment
 

This job operates in a professional office environment.  This role routinely uses a variety of high-end sophisticated equipment that requires monitoring, scheduled maintenance, periodic replacement and repair. In addition, this department utilizes standard office equipment such as personal computers, phones, photocopiers, fax machines, and scanners.
 

Position Type / Expected Hours of Work
 

This is a full-time position.  Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday and need to be on call 24/7 to respond to after hour’s situations and need to be able to work on weekends to provide for maintenance, server and report services support.

 

Tuesday-Saturday Schedule

1:00 PM to 9:30 PM
