Summary / Objective
The Regional Manager’s primary job function is to be fully accountable for the success of an assigned group of stores driving sales growth by directing all operational aspects of
the Region. The Regional Manager is responsible for ensuring proper store staffing, maintaining clean, well-organized and properly merchandised stores at all times and that all
policies, procedures and controls are followed. The Regional Manager is responsible for protecting company property and assets. This position serves as the key strategic partner and maintains constant awareness of our competition within their assigned Region. The Regional Manager is responsible for establishing and maintaining ethical standards as a
Bestway Ambassador and set the example to all subordinates within their Region in
ethical decision making skills.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Manage and direct a geographic group of stores normally consisting of 6 to 8 stores.
Leadership
Responsible for
setting and achieving sales and credit standardsResponsible for
overseeing the performance management of each store managerSchedule and
visit all stores in the Region on a regular basis to ensure compliance in all
areas of customer service, store operations, and loss preventionEnsure that 80%
of work time is allocated to store visitsTrain, challenge,
motivate, encourage and provide constructive guidance to Store Managers related
to all areas of effective operations
Human Resources
Ensure that all
staff hired within the Region are qualified candidates with the desire to
create enthusiasm and are properly trained to perform their job dutiesEnsure that all
Store Managers effectively supervise their employees by planning, organizing
and delegating tasks to meet the store goals and expectationsResponsible for
recruiting, hiring and training of their store staffs in all aspects of their
job functions and providing appropriate constructive feedback regarding
performance and/or conductEnsure Store
Managers maintain proper staffing levels to meet store needs and that Bestway
coworkers properly record hours workedEnsure that all
coworkers within the Region are kept current on all policies, procedures,
programs and guidelines and that all stores maintain a work environment free
from discrimination and harassmentEnsure that all
coworkers treat one another with respect and our customers with courtesy and
respectResponsible for
communicating regular updates, new information and concerns regarding the
competition to their respective RVP and executive leadershipIdentify, develop
and coach top performers in operational and people management skills in order

maintaining at all times a professional relationship with store managers, store

ensuring that all stores in respective Region are in compliance with

Loss Prevention/Inventory Control
Ensure that Store
Managers are in compliance with all policies regarding cash controlEnsure that Store
Managers conduct their inventories timely and accuratelyResponsible for
ensuring and assisting their Store Managers in researching any
merchandise/asset discrepancies from the inventories performed or other
exceptionsResponsible for
ensuring that all Store Managers are properly pricing, handling service &
loaners and maintaining all inventory in rent ready conditionProtect and
properly dispose of any company or customer file informationEnsure 30+ day
files are being worked properlyComplete full
inventory audits including service and loaners in each store every other month.

Maintain
competitive awareness by continuously monitoring the competitionServe as a key
strategic partner with Executive Leadership by proactively implementing
strategies to stay ahead of the competitionEnsure that all
stores have a complete understanding of the Company’s Sales and Credit MinutesEnsure that all stores
are utilizing the P.U.S.H. for effective time management
Administration
Responsible for
ensuring that all store managers maintain all records within the store
operations as required by updating all daily, weekly and monthly reports.Regional Manager
is responsible to submit their expense reports, all required reports as
directed by their RVP timely and accuratelyComplete a 5 Star
Audit on each store as requiredThis area
includes but is not limited to all banking functions in stores, all paperwork
is sent to home office, all store records/manuals are maintained and all store
expenses are within established guidelines

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or a minimum of 3 years in multi-unit leadership and management
Previous rent to own experience required
Some overnight travel required
Basic computer skills application knowledge of MS Word, Outlook and Excel
Position Type / Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Saturday
8:00 a.m. to 6 p.m. and will require additional hours as needed.
