Edgehill Continuing Care Retirement Community is seeking an energetic and fun Lifestyle Director! We are looking for someone that enjoys organizing events and programs, has an engaging personality, strong communication skills and enjoys motivating people.

 

The Lifestyle Director is responsible for oversight of daily operations and management of an exclusive senior care facility, including Independent and Assisted living/Memory Care neighborhoods; coordinating, implementing, and evaluating our community programs to enhance our resident’s experience, while developing, maintaining, and cultivating relationships with community organizations, current residents, and families.

 

  • The Lifestyle Director oversees the activity staff to coordinate and implement resident interests and programs to create a varied yet innovative activity program within the community.
  • Plan and organize recreational activities and events for residents to promote social engagement and overall well-being –
  • Collaborate with community leadership and resident committees to ensure a consistent level of both internal and external programming capturing all events our community has to offer; enhances to innovates Community programming standards including Wellness initiatives for Independent Living Environment.
  • Supports, encourages, and directs independent program pursuits, works with individual residents and committees to gain insight into resident preferences.
  • Monitor facility compliance with corporate and state regulations and licensing requirements

Requirements 

  • Must have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and knowledge of aging and disability issues
  • Must be qualified by experience and training to develop programs appropriate for elders and disabled individuals
  • Management and Leadership Experience
  • Previous experience working with seniors is preferred
  • Experience in Microsoft Office Preferred
