We are looking for a Clinical Liaison to join our team! As part of the Benchmark skilled nursing team, your role will be to provide hands-on sales expertise to the community by generating qualified professional referrals, functioning as an account manager for major professional referral sources. Responsibilities
- Present the company and self in a positive and professional manner to residents, families, professional referral sources and other Benchmark associates.
- Make formal public presentations to residents, families, professional referral sources and other Benchmark associates on an as-need basis.
- Manage within the community budget, develop and/or produce reports on a routine or ad hoc basis.
- Conduct admission assessments for residents who are on a medical leave or who are receiving rehabilitation services at an alternate site
- Conduct tours with professionals, prospective residents and their families, and close new sales.
- Work collaboratively with department heads to emphasize the team’s role in sales for the community.
- Identify and develop professional referral sources
- Maintain or grow occupancy to maximum levels
- Ensures that the building shows a positive first impression and that model apartments are well appointed, clean, and neat.
- Work with Administrator and Plant Operations Director to resolve any community presentation issues
- Analyze the strengths and weaknesses of the community compared to competitors and develop appropriate action steps to effectively sell against the competition
- Proactively identify and pursue publicity opportunities
- Conduct professional outreach for lead generating purposes
- Gather competitive market analysis data and maintain a detailed competitor comparative analysis (including rates, apartment sizes, services, and amenities)
Requirements
- Ability to build rapport, trust, and to communicate effectively are essential.
- Ability to be flexible and work in an environment that promotes teamwork and collaboration.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to relate in a positive and professional way to a diverse resident and associate population.
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality regarding residents, employees, staff and the community.
- Demonstrated ability to set priorities, complete assignments in a timely manner while managing multiple duties and responsibilities.
- Demonstrated ability to be innovative and creative and have patience, high energy and resourcefulness in problem solving.
Education/Experience/Licensure/Certification:
- RN or LPN preferred. Previous experience in selling to professional referral sources is essential. Previous experience working with seniors and /or disabled is highly desirable. Prior experience in sales training is highly desirable.
- Valid Driver’s license required.
