Benchmark Senior Living is seeking a Resident Care Coordinator who will maintain responsibility for the Traditional Assisted Living Program and all related functions within the Benchmark Community 

Responsibilities include:  

  • Checks ADL books/resident electronic health record (myUnity) for documentation and completion of care. 

  • Checks paper/electronic Medication Administration Records (eMARs) and Medication Observation Records (eMORs) and verifies that medications have been given and treatments completedReports any omission to the RCD for follow-up. 

  • Develops Resident Care Associate (RCA) staffing schedule in conjunction with the RCD.  

  • Responsibility to support and assist RCA staff with training and in-service completion 

  • Assists the RCD with follow-up in obtaining Care Plan signatures. 

  • Orders and maintains sufficient supplies for the Resident Care department. 

  • Communicates supply needs for residents with families/responsible parties, as needed. 

  • Coordinates Quality Assurance meetings in conjunction with the RCD. 

  • Coordinates family meetings with the Resident Care team. 

  • Assists in the interview and hiring process in conjunction with RCD - coordinates interviews, assembles paperwork, etc. 

 

Education/Experience/Licensure: 

 

  • High School education or equivalent required 

  • State required certifications and completion of Medication Aide Training 

  • Previous scheduling experience preferred
