Coachman Square at Woodbridge is looking for a Memory Care Activities Coordinator to join our team in Woodbridge, CT! As part of the Memory Care team, your role will be to organize and implement programs designed to meet the individual needs of our residents. Our programming is intended to fulfill basic psychological, intellectual, physical, social, emotional, and spiritual needs while promoting self-esteem in a caring, nurturing environment. The Programming Coordinator supports and assists in all necessary programming.

Employment Status: Full Time

Schedule: Sunday - Thursday, 9am-5pm

Compensation: $22.00 /hr

Requirements:

• An Associate's Degree or formal education in recreation and programming with knowledge of aging and dementia.
• Must be qualified by experience and training to develop a robust calendar of programs for elders and persons living with dementia.
• Therapeutic Recreation certificate, preferred
• Demonstrates high-level skill in planning appropriate activities / programs.
• Experience in Assisted Living setting, preferred
