Position Summary and Responsibilities:

The Kitchen Assistant – Part-Time is responsible for assisting in food preparation and cleanup of the kitchen.

• Assist in the food preparation for weekly and special events
• Assist in re-stocking food and supplies
• Assist in cleaning kitchen and dining areas
• Assist in maintaining and replacing floral arrangements and plants in the General Office
• Completes other duties as assigned by Kitchen Coordinator including administrative projects

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

• Must be friendly and personable
• Good communication skills
• Team player
• Receptive to positive and critical feedback
• Self-motivator
• High school diploma/GED

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
• Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 20 lbs.
