We are seeking a motivated and experienced Production Supervisor to lead and manage our Wire EDM, Assembly, and Mill departments. In this role, you will oversee daily production operations, ensure adherence to quality and compliance standards, and foster a culture of excellence in safety, efficiency, and team morale. Your leadership will be instrumental in achieving production goals in a regulated medical device manufacturing environment.

 

Shift: 1st, Monday - Thursday (6:00am - 4:30pm)

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide leadership and support for all production employees in the Wire EDM, Assembly, and Mill departments during 1st shift.
  • Lead daily production review meetings, identify and resolve issues, and escalate as necessary.
  • Develop and implement cross-training initiatives to enhance team flexibility and operational efficiency.
  • Utilize production data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor efficiency, identify trends, and recommend actionable improvements.
  • Manage timekeeping, attendance, and disciplinary records for direct reports promptly and accurately.
  • Ensure all team members are adequately trained and up to date on processes.
  • Maintain compliance with Avalign and FDA quality system requirements, ensuring daily adherence to regulatory and company standards.
  • Monitor and achieve production plans and schedules for assigned departments.
  • Manage key constraints and ensure appropriate staffing levels for optimal performance.
  • Drive accountability and alignment on production, staffing, and quality goals.
  • Support the professional growth and development of hourly employees.
  • Conduct quality spot checks, 5S audits, and Layered Process Audits regularly.
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes and outcomes.

What You’ll Need:

  • High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is a plus.
  • A minimum of 5 years of combined experience in the biomedical or medical device industry; or at least 8 years of combined experience in related fields such as general manufacturing, quality, or logistics.
  • A combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • 3+ years leadership experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and compliance in regulated industries, particularly FDA-regulated environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive quality, efficiency, and team engagement in a manufacturing setting.
