Executive Sales Representative
Summary: Reporting to the Senior Enterprise Sales Director, the Executive Sales Representative is responsible for expanding business across all OEM Manufacturers / Distributors within their territory, to achieve sales & growth objectives.
Duties/Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
- Attain short and long-term Territory growth objectives.
- Develop and execute Territory Account Plans, utilizing disciplined pipeline management.
- Develop new prospects and interact with existing customers to increase sales of Avalign products and services. Work with customers to understand needs, create solutions, and ensure a smooth sales process. Develop technical product knowledge across a broad spectrum of instrument categories and surgical specialties.
- Demonstrate and retain technical product knowledge across a broad spectrum of instrument categories and surgical specialties.
- Coordinate successful Territory and Opportunity Plan execution, by partnering with internal functional SMEs in Engineering, Operations, Finance and QA/RA
- Improving the Customer Experience by understanding customer requirements and focusing internal service and operations resources to meet and exceed customer expectations.

- Communication – Possesses excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
- Computer Skills – Must have knowledge of MS Office with at least intermediate MS Excel skills. Previous experience with Sales Force or other CRM program desired.
Education and/or Experience: Bachelor’s degree and minimum 5 years Business to Business sales experience required. 2 years medical device sales experience, surgical instrument or orthopedic implant experience preferred.
Physical Demands/Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand, walk or sit, occasionally for long periods of time; use hands to hold, handle or feel objects; reach with hands and arms; balance; stoop, kneel or crouch; talk or listen. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds (seek assistance for greater amounts). Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Typical office setting with climate-controlled temperature, light, humidity and minimal noise. Typical factory floor setting with increased noise, heat, light and humidity than an office setting which could require the use of personal protection equipment such as safety glasses, non-slip shoes and / or hearing protection. Employees may be exposed to hazardous materials. Employees need to consult SDS in their work area. Travel up to 20%.
