CNC Swiss Lathe Machinist - 2nd Shift

We are seeking a skilled CNC Swiss Lathe Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing all set-up and operational functions of CNC Swiss style lathe machines, fabrication of medical instruments and implants, deburring of parts, and inspection of parts using various tools and equipment.

Shift: 2nd, Monday - Thursday (4:30pm - 3:00am OR 7:30pm - 6:00am)

15% shift premium for ALL 2nd shift hours worked!

What You’ll Do:

• Operate, set up, and maintain CNC Swiss style lathe machines, finish machines, hand tools, and fixtures.
• Read and interpret blueprints, inspection check-sheets, and instructions.
• Utilize basic inspection tools, such as calipers, micrometers, height stands, comparators, etc.
• Perform burr removal on all parts where required.
• Make necessary machine adjustments, tool changes, etc., as required.
• Interface with Epicor Labor Entry system and monitor work orders.
• Manage and monitor both internal and external quality as it relates to the work area.
• Drive continuous improvements towards quality and delivery within the work area.
• Execute the production plan to ensure on-time delivery to customers.
• Support the training of other employees in your area of responsibility as needed.

What You’ll Need:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years' experience with Swiss Lathe machines, Citizen or Tsugami preferred.
