Inventory Control Specialist

We are looking for an Inventory Specialist to join our Akron, OH facility. You will provide reporting for inbound, outside processing, and outbound inventory. You will also be responsible for coordinating daily cycle counts and inventory variances.

What You’ll Do:

• Responsible for overseeing inventory, ordering additional products and supplies, and distributing supplies internally to designated areas
• Assists with entering sales orders and other ERP related activities
• Updates inventory, measures raw material for stock, and calculates total amount in Epicor
• Packages and ships product economically and with the highest level of quality assurance
• Schedules outgoing freight with assigned vendors (FedEx, UPS, Holland, etc.)
• Receives raw materials, outsources products, tooling/supplies, and returned customer products
• Updates and maintains supplier and customer price list
• Labels and identifies controlled products, including raw material, customer supplied material, and machined parts
• Processes subcontractor purchase orders; closes associated labor transactions

 What You’ll Need:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
• 3+ years of inventory experience required
• Supply chain certification (APICS/IBF) desirable
• Experience with and a demonstrable knowledge of ERP & advanced planning systems
• Supply chain or manufacturing experience in a medical, pharmaceutical or consumer industry preferred
