Seller Success Specialist - Plano, TX (Hybrid)

 

Position Summary: 
The Seller Success Specialist works directly with property sellers, providing exceptional support and guidance to facilitate successful sales through the Auction.com platform. The ideal candidate is a sales-driven professional with outstanding customer service skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to find tailored solutions that deliver optimal results for our customers. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

Sales and Lead Management 

  • Handle all inbound and outbound leads, ensuring timely and effective follow-up. 
  • Conduct outbound calls to prospective and existing customers to promote and sell services. 
  • Nurture a pipeline of potential sellers, addressing varying levels of interest. 
  • Manage and convert leads to set listing appointments.

Customer Relationship Building 

  • Build strong, trust-based relationships with sellers and real estate agents from diverse backgrounds and situations. 
  • Provide consultative sales support, tailoring solutions to each seller’s unique needs. 
  • Effectively communicate complex processes and information to sellers of all knowledge levels. 
  • Adapt communication styles, including showing empathy, to align with the seller's unique circumstances, such as those in default or financial distress. 

Customer Experience and Problem-Solving 

  • Respond to customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and address issues to ensure satisfaction. 
  • Problem-solve concerns raised by sellers and listing agents while answering any questions. 
  • Provide professional and empathetic support to deliver outstanding customer experience. 

Collaboration and Reporting 

  • Document insights and share learnings regularly with the team and leadership. 
  • Contribute actively to team initiatives, shared goals, and continuous improvement efforts. 
  • Mentor and support peers through constructive feedback and guidance. 

Other Responsibilities 

  • Attend staff meetings to gain insight into sales trends and market dynamics. 
  • Follow up on cancellations and no-shows to re-engage potential customers. 
  • Promote and sell additional services when applicable to enhance seller outcomes. 

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 

  • Strong sales aptitude with a focus on consultative selling. 
  • Exceptional customer service skills and a solutions-oriented approach. 
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. 
  • Ability to build rapport with customers from various backgrounds. 
  • Reliable, resourceful, and open to innovation and new strategies. 
  • Proficient in managing multiple tasks and prioritizing effectively. 
  • Prior experience in real estate, sales, or a related field is a plus. 

 

Qualifications/Requirements: 

  • BA/BS Degree or equivalent work experience, preferably in sales or marketing. 
  • 3-5 years minimum in sales environment, preferably outbound calls
  • Experience with auctions or real estate transactions. 
  • Ability to handle the pressure of working with a high volume of the general public. 
  • As a condition of employment, the employee must complete a background investigation by all federal, state, and local laws.
