Job Description Summary
Basic Purpose
The Sales Support Specialist role will assist the Sales team in various tasks including but not limited to proposals, inside sales, RFPs, CRM input and customer communication.
Scope
Under the direction of the SVP, Sales & Marketing, the Strategic Sales Specialist will focus primarily on the facilitation and execution of the sales process. They will help orchestrate the flow of inside sales and ensure the smooth functioning of processes within the sales organization.
Reporting and Working Relationships
This role will report to the SVP, Sales & Marketing and support the sales team.
Primary Responsibilities (100%)
30%...Proposal Creation
- Lead proposal creation, capturing accurate customer needs and pricing, correspondence with operations and handoff to customer. Help with RFP overflow if necessary.
15%...Customer Onboarding
- Collaborate with operations (Consulting, Inspections, MS) to support the customer onboarding process to ensure a seamless client experience.
20%...Inside Sales
- Responsible for the management and delegation of inside sales requests. Respond to customer inquiries, write proposals or ensure delivery to the correct department.
15%...Report Development
- Develop and generate reports out of SFCRM/ZoomInfo for the Sales team, showcasing weekly wins, losses, opportunities and tasks.
10%...Administrative Support
- Provide administrative support to the sales team as needed, including assisting with meetings with clients, and handling correspondence.
10%...Process Improvement
- Continuously assess and improve existing procedures and workflows to enhance efficiency and effectiveness within the Sales Department.
Work Environment/Physical Demands
This position operates in a remote or a professional office environment.
Travel
Travel is limited. Most travel will be related to regional in-person meetings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- 2+ years of proven business-to-business inside sales, preferably in the elevator industry.
- Knowledge of elevator industry maintenance/ Inspection and/ or other building/ facilities maintenance or property management operations.
- Demonstrates ability to consistently achieve or exceed sales quotas and daily activity metrics.
- Strong communication skills, with ability to communicate at all levels of decision makers.
- Unwavering focus on client satisfaction.
- Can productively work in a corporate office environment, with/without direct supervision.
- Admin or similar experience required.
- Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheets, document, Salesforce and database software (MS Office 365, Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat).
- Experience utilizing a CRM system daily, preferably Oracle NetSuite and/or HubSpot.
