Sales & Business Development - Director, Marketing

Basic Purpose
The Director, Marketing is an organized, proactive team player and strong leader, whose energy is infectious, bringing positivity and continuous support to colleagues. Working across multiple divisions, the Director’s ability to collaborate, foster relationships, and bring solutions to the table are essential assets of the position.
The Director of Marketing has exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, allowing her/him to manage projects and expectations from clients and senior leaders. This individual should also have the ability to identify and pursue opportunities contributing to the success of the sales pipeline. The Director, Marketing represents the ATIS/KJA brand with the highest degree of professionalism, always serving as a brand ambassador.
This individual should gain the respect of the entire ATIS/KJA team, vendors, customers, and partners. She/he is defined by a solid work ethic, with strong personal and professional integrity. She/he should regularly acknowledge the contributions of others and understand how those contributions fit into the success of each business line. She/he is instrumental in bringing the business units closer together through open dialogue and the sharing of both internal and industry best practices.
Scope
The Director of Marketing will be working with all ATIS/KJA departments to collaborate, develop, and foster ATIS relationships to bring our brand to all our service areas.
Reporting and Working Relationships
This role will report to the SVP, Sales & Marketing and work with ATIS/KJA Team members, vendors, customers, clients, and partners.
Primary Responsibilities
- Work with ATIS management, elevator consultants, and agency resources to develop and implement marketing strategies, plans, content, and campaigns that align with and support the company’s vision and objectives, including email, digital, and social marketing initiatives.
- Manage all marketing projects and related, third-party party vendors.
- Build a Business-to-Business Marketing Strategy.
- Manage the marketing budget.
- Monitor online marketing and social media trends and best practices.
- Manage the creation of graphics and illustrative copy.
- Conduct market research and monitor industry trends and behaviors.
- Perform related support duties, including but not limited to database management, reporting and analytics, maintenance of marketing materials, management of sales and lead gen tools, including ZoomInfo and Pardot.
- Draft press releases and other external communications.
Work Environment/Physical Demands
This position operates in a remote or professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, fax machines, and filing cabinets.
Travel
Minimal travel required. This may include visits to regional offices, Company-required functions, and visiting potential acquisitions as necessary.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field and 7-10 years of marketing experience.
- Experience leading and developing a team of marketers.
- Strong project management skills.
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Reporting tools (Google Analytics or the like).
- Experience with Marketing Automation tools and in B2B Enablement
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and marketing analytics tools (Google Analytics) plus SEO and keyword search best practices.
- Capable of handling multiple tasks with competing priorities under minimal supervision and practices critical thinking and exercises independent judgment and discretion.
- Technologically savvy and resourceful and proficient in social media tools.
- Results-oriented and solution-focused with a problem-solving attitude.
- A background in writing and editing copy a plus.
