Jewish Green Business Network Director
The Jewish Green Business Network (JGBN) is a new program of Adamah that seeks to bring together Jewish green business leaders, young professionals, and business students in order to network, accelerate the pace of climate action within the Jewish community and beyond, share effective climate solutions, and support the next generation of young Jews entering this industry.
Position Overview
The Jewish Green Business Network Director will lead the development and growth of an innovative network that integrates entrepreneurship, Jewish values, and sustainability. This role will focus on building a vibrant community of Jewish business leaders- including primarily those in North America and Israel- committed to environmental sustainability, fostering collaboration, and driving green business practices across the Jewish world.
The ideal candidate is a dynamic and entrepreneurial leader with expertise and relationships in green business, Jewish community, and national and international networking. This position includes extensive travel throughout North America, Israel, and potentially Europe as well.

- Network Development and Engagement
- Design and implement strategies to grow the JGBN by recruiting and engaging business leaders, entrepreneurs, and professionals.

- Provide resources for members of the Jewish community who are leaders in business.
- Organize thought leadership forums, such as speaker series, panels, and conferences, to inspire and educate members.

- Launching mentorship opportunities to connect emerging leaders with experienced professionals in sustainable business practices.
- Connecting Jewish green business leaders and Adamah’s climate coalition members

- Report on the impact and growth of the network to stakeholders.
- Communication and Marketing
- Develop and execute a communications strategy to raise the profile of the JGBN.
- Oversee the creation of newsletters, blogs, and social media campaigns to highlight member achievements and initiatives.
- Maintain a strong online presence through the network’s website and digital platforms.
In particular, the job will include:
Integration with Jewish Climate Leadership Coalition: Because this network will include advisors and strategists from the climate field who can catalyze systemic change through technical expertise and vendor connections, they are well positioned to grow Adamah’s National Climate Action Fund and expand Adamah’s Jewish Climate Leadership Coalition beyond Jewish institutions into Jewish green businesses.
Integration with youth empowerment: The JGBN will create connections and cultivate an on-ramp for career trajectories for young adults, including young leaders from Adamah’s Jewish Youth Climate Movement and Adamah on Campus.
Israel trips: We envision high level trips to Israel for leaders from the North American climate tech, renewable energy, and sustainability sectors.
Networking programs: In-person gatherings at key moments throughout the year, including Climate Week NYC and during major conferences such as the annual UN Conference of Parties (COP).
Local hub gatherings: The network will include events, local tours, and workshops.
