Senior Director, Information Systems (Salesforce Admin)

SUMMARY:
The Senior Director of Information Management Systems is responsible for the day-to-day configuration, support, maintenance, and improvement of our Salesforce environment, including NPSP, Traction Rec, and other third-party applications.
The Senior Director of Information Management Systems will work closely with JCC staff, lay leaders, and subject matter experts in documenting business requirements and training materials, software integration, and configuration projects. The Senior Director of Information Management Systems will be involved in all aspects of the software development life cycle, from project/feature backlog prioritization, requirement engineering, and development oversight through testing, release and support for products serving our members and guests. Acting as a liaison between business and technology, creative problem solving, impeccable communication and attention to detail are key skills expected in this role. This individual will also be responsible for point and click administration and configuration of key systems.
This position will work primarily in the Rosenbloom Owings Mills JCC. This position does have flexibility to work virtually as needed with approval of the COO.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Provide point and click administration and configuration of Salesforce and other systems
- Responsible for end-to-end project management of small to mid-sized projects
- Design and implement automated processes using Salesforce Flow
- Lead the development and maintenance of Salesforce reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights. Serve as the agency's reporting expert, training and supporting users in leveraging Salesforce reporting capabilities
- Supervise a full-time Systems Support Specialist responsible for internal/external case management, program and product setup, and internal user training
- Manage and optimize the Experience Cloud site for external users
- Work with managed packages and integrated third-party systems including but not limited to NPSP, Conga, Mogli, Traction Rec, Upace, and SecuTix
- Manage less complex Salesforce integrations - those not handled by a Salesforce Developer, Consultant, or Implementation Partner
- Maintain data integrity by performing regular database clean-up and optimization tasks
- Serve as Salesforce advocate across the agency, increase adoption and elevate agency's ability to leverage tools and improve business efficiency
- Handle all basic administrative functions including creation and modification of apps, layouts, fields, formulas, and validation rules
- Work closely with our partner, Traction Rec, for upgrades, and ongoing support issues
- Gather detailed requests from staff for improvements or changes to Salesforce and integrated systems and implement those changes as appropriate
- Develop documentation and training materials to be used to train users and grow the Salesforce skill set across the organization
- Document customizations made in Salesforce
- In coordination with COO, plan for upgrades, seasonal releases, and long-term projects.
- Apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to research, troubleshoot and walk staff and customers through our tech stack to address their questions and concerns.
- Participate in JCC and community events as needed
- Keep current with JCC related programs, policies, and procedures
- Support the Mission of the JCC
- Represent the Agency and provide the highest quality of customer service.
- Perform other duties as assigned
WHO YOU ARE:
- College degree in business, information systems, information technology, computer science, accounting, or other applicable related fields.
- Minimum three years of experience as a Salesforce administrator preferred
- Strong understanding of the Salesforce platform, with the ability to build custom apps, objects, formula fields, flows, lightning pages, etc.
- Salesforce Admin (ADM201) certified (required). Platform App Builder, Nonprofit Cloud Consultant preferred
- Proven experience building and maintaining Salesforce reports and dashboards. Experience with business intelligence tools like Power BI or similar a plus.

- Ability to work on comprehensive projects with general direction and minimal guidance

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
Salary (or Salary Range): $80,000 - $90,000
