Vice President of Women’s Philanthropy
The Associated: Jewish Community Federation of Baltimore is seeking a Vice President of Women’s Philanthropy. This person will be responsible for articulating and implementing strategic goals and vision for the women’s philanthropy portfolio. The VP will establish strong partnerships with volunteers, build teams, manage gift solicitations and maintain a portfolio of donors to engage, solicit and steward. This person will set ambitious but achievable fundraising goals and oversee and/or execute all fundraising events that fall under Women’s Philanthropy. Other responsibilities include training and supporting lay leaders and serving as lead professional for the Women’s Engagement and Philanthropy Chair.
Essential Job Functions:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Raise dollars for the Annual Campaign from women; solicit directly and oversee a team of solicitors.
- Manage lay leaders in women’s philanthropy, including women’s campaign chair, women’s chair, event chairs and future leadership.
- Plan meaningful events and programs.
- Interact with women in the community and help them find opportunities to became involved in Associated Women.
- Supervise and mentor professionals working on Associated Women and auxiliary programs.
Skills and Requirements:
- Five to seven years of demonstrated success in fundraising.
- Master’s Degree required.
- Knowledge of the Jewish community.
- Ability to prioritize and juggle multiple tasks.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Excellent oral and written skills.
- Detailed oriented.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary Range: $120,000-$135,000; commensurate with experience.
