ASRC Federal System Solutions, LLC. (AFSS), a subsidiary of ASRC Federal, is a premier provider of systems engineering, software engineering, system integration and project management services for real-time, mission-critical defense systems. AFSS is seeking a Demonstration Operations Center (DOC) Manager and Site Lead in Huntsville, AL to support the Space Development Agency’s (SDA) Advanced Fire Control Ground Infrastructure (AFCGI) program.
Key Role:
- Responsible for leading the support of integration and test activities with mission partners throughout their AFCGI interface development, integration, and test activities.
- Manage and integrate activities in accordance with contract requirements.
- Manage risk, customer relationships, and program staffing.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Manages performance requirements to the program baseline.
- Responsible for DOC tasks and projects.
- Manages a small size, multi-discipline staff.
- Conducts DOC related discussions in coordination with internal cross-functional team.
- Uses standard, well-defined processes, procedures, techniques, and tools.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s and eight (8) years or more of related experience; Masters and six (6) years or more experience.
- DoD Top Secret clearance and SCI-eligible.
- C2 and Information Systems management experience in support of Department of Defense Operations Centers and Command and Control Systems.
- Be able to mentor and provide leadership.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience leading operations or ground system support for SDA or the US Space Force’s OPIR missions.
- Technical writing skills for generating analysis and reports.
- Experience Operations and Maintenance plans, and Training plans.
