At ASRC Federal Holding Company, we are looking for a qualified Cloud Engineer to support our CECOM SEC customer at Aberdeen, Maryland.

We are committed to leveraging cutting-edge technology and innovative solutions to support the mission of the US Army Communications-Electronics Command (CECOM). As we continue to enhance our IT infrastructure and software capabilities, we are seeking highly skilled professionals to join our team in various key roles. Each position plays a crucial part in maintaining and advancing our environment, ensuring seamless operations and robust support for CECOM personnel worldwide.

Position Description: This position supports Cloud Engineering and DevSecOps efforts under ASRC Federal’s CECOM SETA Support within the PEO EIS MSP. The PEO EIS MSP ensures that the U.S. Army’s cloud environments are secure, scalable, and efficient. As a DevSecOps Senior (Cloud Engineer Senior), you will be responsible for implementing, advising, and training on automation and integration activities across cloud and DevSecOps workflows.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electronics engineering, engineering, or another technical discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as an AWS Cloud administrator.
  • Must be IAT Level 2 Certified.
  • Knowledge of assessing the capability of existing DevSecOps pipelines throughout SEC, the ability to design and implement improvements, and the ability to assist software development teams in their use.
  • Secret security clearance.

Required Skills:

  • Proficiency in AWS Cloud administration and AWS services.
  • Proficiency in managing EC2 servers, AMIs, restores, and backups.
  • Proficiency in configuring and monitoring AWS CloudWatch for resource metrics, logs, and alarms.
  • Knowledge of AWS Security Hub for centralized security findings and compliance checks.
  • Proficiency in managing AWS storage services (e.g., S3, EBS, EFS).
  • Familiarity with AWS Detective for threat detection and investigation.
  • Experience with AWS Backup for automated backups and retention policies.
  • Experience with AWS Systems Manager for patch management, automation, and compliance.
  • AWS or other applicable Technical Certification.

Desired Skills:

  • Knowledge of DoD security requirements and compliance (STIG/ACAS).
  • Knowledge of ERP SAP environments.
  • Understanding of AWS AppStream for application streaming and delivery.
  • Working knowledge of DevSecOps.
  • Experience working in an Agile Framework environment.
