ASRC Federal System Solutions, LLC. (AFSS)  is seeking to identify qualified candidates for a Senior Logistics Planner to support the Ground Based Radar Maintenance and Sustainment Service (GMASS)  program. 

AFSS is a premier provider of systems engineering, software engineering, system integration and project management services for real-time, mission-critical defense systems.

Role/Responsibilities:

  • Develops maintenance plans and design interfaces using material management and supply functions such as:
    • Initial planning, provisioning and requirements determination (RCM, RAM or RMA)
    • Analysis methodologies and products to include: LORA, LCSP, LSA, ILSP, LCC, Sustainment, Obsolescence and DMSMS
    • Acquisition and distribution accountability
    • Ultimate issue for consumption, retention or disposal
  • Provides Item Management (i.e. GFP) services and technical leadership of Item Management functions
  • Uses inventory management systems
  • Provides operations and maintenance functions for the material handling systems

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with UEWR and PARCS.
  • Familiarity with Supply Support and Test.
  • DoD or Air Force logistics proposal experience is a plus.
  • Ability to interpret electronic systems schematic diagrams.
  • Experience with USAF/DoD radar systems.
  • Air Force Technical Orders (TO) and Time Compliance Technical Orders (TCTO) generation and maintenance.

Requirements:

  • The ideal candidate should have in-depth experience with the elements of Integrated Logistics Support, working knowledge of logistics acquisition life cycle processes and product development.
  • Bachelor's degree and 4 years of directly related logistics experience - OR - Advanced degree and 1 year of experience - OR - no degree and 10 years directly related logistics experience.
  • Must possess excellent technical skills and understand multi-discipline logistics.
  • Good researching skills, analytical ability and capacity for planning.
  • U.S. Citizen with an active SECRET security clearance is required.
