Job Summary:
This position performs all duties and activities related to Logistics functions in support of the CLOIS Contract. These tasks include warehousing, shipping, receiving, storage and issue of material both hazardous and non-hazardous, supplies, equipment (MSE’s) and tools. This position uses numerous methodologies to include first in first out (FIFO), shelf life and other industry standard practices.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform receiving/inspection and shipping activities for material and equipment.
- Identify government property for accountability.
- Perform annual material and equipment inventories to meet contractual requirements.
- Document material and equipment non-conformances as required.
- Ensure proper documentation is affixed to materials/equipment prior to releasing.
- Ensure stocked items are located in the correct locations and new items are assigned locations.
- Maintain logistics documents as required.
- Perform housekeeping duties to ensure cleanliness and safety for inside and outside storage areas.
- Operate vehicles and material handling equipment to facilitate the safe loading, unloading and transportation of materials and equipment.
- Provide escort service as required.
- Deliver material and equipment as required.
Requirements:
- 5 years’ experience in Material Control, Air Force Supply System, or related warehousing experience.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and have a working knowledge of applicable operating system(s) and standard computer applications to include but not limited to Microsoft.
- Must have the ability to be certified in the safe operation of 2-15K forklifts.
- Ability to obtain/maintain a security clearance. US Citizenship is needed for a security clearance.
Work Environment:
Majority of work will be in a warehouse environment.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to stand, walk, lift, and bend for long durations throughout a normal working day.
