The Lead Production Control Specialist reportsto and supports the Customer Service Manager in the oversight of the Service Desk and the Production Control SpecialistsThe production control team is primarily responsible for inputting and maintaining worktask data in the government system of record regarding facility and infrastructure maintenance and repairThis position provides administrativesupport andfacilitates thecommunication and sharing of data amongst KEOS employees andgovernment customers. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Assists the Customer Service Manager (CSM) in facilitating thesuccess of the customer service section and will act as functional lead in the absence of the CSM. 
  • Prepares, transfers, and records bothwritten and computerized communications and records. 
  • Compiles and records work task datato compare records and reports on scheduledversus actual completion, consumption of material, quality control, and other aspects of the work performed by KEOS facility maintenance technicians. 
  • Uses the government software system of record, specifically the USAF’s “NexGenIT,to compile and record relevant data. 
  • Manage the workflow of work requests submitted throughthe customer service office and NexGenIT. Ensure work requests are accurate andassigned tothe appropriate shop tofacilitate inspection, test, and/or repairCompiles material inventory records and assist inpreparation of requisitionsfor procurement of materials and supplies. 
  • Provides oversight andadministrationof formal government processes such as construction and repair initiation requests; ensures electronic folders contain requiredcoordination documents. 
  • Monitors organizational electronic mailboxes 
  • Manages the Facility Managers Program:  maintains Facility Manager assignment letters and Facility Manager distribution listing; updates theFacility Manager Guide; and prepares, schedules, performs, or assists in the Facility Managers quarterly training. 
  • Assistsin training of Production Control Specialist personnel andupdates Service Desk Guide and checklist. 
  • Manages the organization’s Share Point site.  
  • Assists in the development andupdating ofnumerous Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). 

Requirements: 

  • Minimum education level of high school diploma or GED equivalent. 
  • At least three (3) years’ of experience in related work with similar level of duties and responsibilities to include acting in a supervisory role. 
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and customer service skills. 
  • Ability to collect, analyze and summarize data and prepare daily reports. 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment that requires handling multiple tasks at a given time and rapidly adapting to changing priorities and schedules. 
  • Possess competent and effective computer skills to include using Microsoft Office 365 applications. 
  • Must have proficient English oral and written communication skills sufficient to effectively communicate with employees, management, and customers. 
  • Must be a US citizen and currently possessor be able to obtain/maintaina U.S. government-issued security clearance. 
  • Capable of working independently with minimal supervision. 
  • Must be able to pass a drug screen. 
  • Must possessand maintain a valid US driver's license. 
  • Be committed to providing for and maintaininga safe working environment. 
  • Have ability to perform repetitive physical tasks involving lifting at least 30 lbs.
