ASRC is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Associate Project Manager to assist in the planning, execution, and delivery of various projects. This role will support senior project managers in managing project timelines, budgets, resources, and stakeholders. The ideal candidate should possess strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and an eagerness to develop project management expertise.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in Project Planning: Work closely with senior project managers to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Monitor Project Progress: Track project milestones and deliverables, ensuring that the project stays on schedule.
  • Coordinate Team Members: Liaise between team members and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and smooth workflow.
  • Support Resource Management: Help manage project resources and ensure tasks are assigned and completed on time.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks or issues that may arise during the project and assist in developing mitigation strategies.
  • Maintain Documentation: Keep detailed records of project status, meeting minutes, and updates to project plans.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that the project adheres to required standards and meets client expectations.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present reports to stakeholders, summarizing project progress, issues, and outcomes.

 

Qualifications:

  • Education: A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering, or a related field.
    • 1+ years of experience in project management or relevant field.
    • Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, or similar).
    • Candidates must be either U.S. citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident, also known as “green card” holder.

      Successful candidate is subject to a background investigation by the government and must be able to meet the requirements to hold a position of public trust.

  • Skills:
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
    • Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    • Basic understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, etc.).
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
