Cybersecurity Project Manager
Job Description
ASRC Federal is seeking a Project Manager to join our National Defense Division. This person is responsible for supporting BD project and initiatives to support the growth of our NatSec business. In addition, this position will support asset management and various projects on our Zero Trust Integration Services (ZTIS) contract.
Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree is required.
- 10+ years of experience
- Must have effective oral and written communication skills
- Experience with Executive level staff and ability to brief at the Executive level
- Program Management Professional (PMP) certification a plus
- Must be a US citizen with ability to obtain a Government security clearance
Project management:
- All tasks to be performed under the supervision of an experienced project manager.
- Asset management support to include maintenance of program laptops.
- Independently gather information from subject matter experts to develop, organize, and write procedures, user manuals, technical specifications, and process documentation.
- Work with interdisciplinary technical leads in coordinated successful execution of projects.
- Successfully develop strategy, mitigation efforts, and lead project teams to execute projects.
- Manage teams across business lines.
- Coordinate resources for the execution of projects.
- Ensure all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
- Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders, and ensuring technical feasibility.
- Ensure resource availability and allocation.
- Develop and monitor a detailed project plan to track progress and identify shortfalls in a timely manner.
- Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs to minimize risk.
- Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Report and escalate to management as needed.
- Manage the relationship with the Government customer and all stakeholders.
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
- Maintain project documentation control.
- Flexibly accept assignments and work independently while seeking guidance as appropriate.
- Collaborate with colleagues and customers to support all assigned tasks.
- Assist the Government in preparing briefings and training documentation on operating procedures and requirements.
- Create reports and data visualizations to make recommendations to leadership.
- Monitor project schedule compliance levels, identify gaps, and potential issues.
- Gather and analyze information to develop regular program status reports.
Desired Skills:
- Experience and understanding of Zero Trust
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
- Experience as an ISSO
- Understanding of FISMA and NIST standards
