ASRC Federal Agile Decision Sciences is seeking a Project Manager to lead and direct one or more project teams engaged in the design, implementation and modification of IT projects that span across functional organizations in support of Washington Headquarters Services. 

Responsibilities:

  • Prepares project execution plan and identifies appropriate technical and business resources needed for the team.
  • Ensures projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and meet technical, quality, and scope requirements of the assignment.
  • Keeps current on advances in the field of IT as well as changes in the organization's business processes.
  • Provides technical and analytical guidance to project team.
  • Interfaces with stakeholders and vendors to ensure requirements are met, provides issue resolutions, and assesses risk and change management needs.
  • Adheres to all IT governance policies and procedures. 
  • Define, propose, and document new IT-related processes, procedures, and methods aligned with industry best practices.
  • Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) reflecting the complete software acquisition process, from governance to disposal.
  • Document IT and cyber-related roles, responsibilities, and services provided by WHS and service providers.
  • Create materials and briefings to facilitate the implementation of processes, procedures, and methods.
  • Draft WHS-specific policy and guidance documents based on DOD policy, ensuring alignment.
  • Develop and support governance processes and forums for effective information sharing among IT stakeholders.
  • Create procedures to minimize the impact of service provider initiatives and changes on user services.
  • Ensure that all systems and document deliverables are compliant with Section 508 accessibility standards.
  • Produce briefing materials to convey IT-related functions and activities to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Support IT-related governance and project meetings, arranging meetings, producing minutes, and supporting materials.
  • Develop and maintain project plans with key milestones for major IT initiatives, projects, and activities.
  • Attend meetings and provide presentations as required to communicate IT progress and status.

Qualifications:

  • Must have an active DoD Secret Clearance
  • Five (5) or more years’ experience of relevant experience leading major government projects that included both analytical and technical components.
  • Experience coordinating with subject matter experts and other stakeholder and facilitating large and small groups to gather information and requirements.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in any field of study. 
  • Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) Certified required.
