Software Engineer - Senior
ASRC Federal is currently seeking qualified Senior Software Engineer candidate to support our Combatant Command Support Agent (CCSA) Technical Support Division customer at 105 Army Pentagon, Washington, D.C.
The Senior Software Engineer works independently designing and developing new software products or major enhancements to existing systems. The position involves leading design efforts for complex software systems and serving as a top-level technical expert addressing challenges in systems integration, compatibility, and multi-platform environments.
JOB DUTIES:
- Lead the design and development of complex software systems.
- Analyze and solve complex problems considering computing capacity, operating time, and system limitations.
- Design, code, test, debug, and document software applications.
- Conduct code reviews for peers and junior developers.
- Collaborate with cybersecurity team members to implement and maintain SSDLC processes.
- Ensure compliance with NIST SP 800-63 RMF and DoD RMF guidelines.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Eight (8) years of experience in software design, development, installation, integration, maintenance, testing, or problem resolution.
- Proficiency in:
- SP 2016 Development
- MS Visual Studio 2015 (C#.NET, ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC 4)
- Fortify Suite
- MS SQL Server 2016 Database Development
- MS TFS 2015, MS Office 2013
- XML, JavaScript, and JQuery
- Working knowledge of:
- MS SQL Server 2016 Administration
- MS Project Professional 2013
- MS Visio Professional 2013
- Adobe Professional XI, MS Test Manager 2015
- Adobe Design and Web Premium (CS6)
- XSLT and XPATH
Certifications:
- IAM Level II
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree
Clearance Level:
- Top Secret with SCI eligibility
Work Environment and Physical Demands:
- Full-time on-site at the Pentagon
