Work Control Lead (supporting NASA)

ASRC Federal Facilities Logistics (AFFL) is seeking a Work Control Lead to support our work at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt MD. This role is in support of the Repair, Operations, Maintenance and Engineering (ROME) contract. Goddard Space Flight Center has two main campuses, Greenbelt, MD, and Wallops Flight Facility on Virginia’s Eastern Shore. The Greenbelt campus has 1,270 acres and includes 37 primary numbered buildings and numerous smaller ones, totaling approximately 3.5 million gross sq. ft. These include mission operations spaces, data centers, integration and test facilities, cleanrooms, laboratories, and other functions. Wallops is situated on 6,187 acres and includes a total of 250 buildings, of which 117 are dedicated to the mission of low‐cost NASA and commercial launches and runway airfield operations. WFF also houses the U.S. Navy as a tenant, and those facility needs are included under the ROME contract.

Supervise the Service Order Dispatchers

Description: Responsible for work order receipt, processing, routing, maintenance of current work order status, reporting requirements, delivery order tracking for maintenance activities. Provides monthly reports on WO statistical issues as requested by management. Performs as internal logistics quality control monitor. Schedules service calls and dispatches service crew via telephone or radio. Exercises independent judgement in making decisions regarding work orders. Evaluates each call and determines need to dispatch personnel to respond to call.

Qualifications Education: Bachelors Degree or Equivalent.

Up to 2 years of experience working in a service order/Work Control environment. 

Experience: Demonstrated ability and proficiency working with CMMS Maximo.
