Quality Assurance Analyst (supporting Air Force Research Lab)
ASRC Federal requires a Quality Analyst on the ASTROS contract. The support needed will include constantly reviewing processes and procedures for the ASTROS Contract, assisting in Configuration Management and providing support to our Site Operations Control Center.
Responsibilities:
- Support a dynamic Contract that is performing Testing at multiple sites. These sites are either in test or performing build-up in order to test.
- Maintain status on all quality efforts and provide routine updates on status to Project manager and Customer Engineers.
- Learning AFRL Quality Standards and staying abreast of changes.
- Identify Quality milestones and activities necessary to achieve project objectives.
- Serve as the Quality Assurance Resource for the ASTROS Contract.
- Identify and track corrective actions related to Quality.
- Serve on all test preparation committees to ensure Quality standards are planned and inspection points are built into all processes.
- Will be required to support Configuration Management as a back-up.
- Will be required to support Site Operations as a back-up operator.
- Compliance with AFRL regulations and procedural requirements is mandatory.
- May be required to support test operations.
- May be required to work extended hours to support test operations with short notice, including weekends and night.
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of Quality Management.
- Strong Logistics background.
- Demonstrated ability to write clear and concise processes and procedures.
- Perform reviews on Quality Plans, interview stakeholders and look for opportunities for process improvement.
- Ensure contract quality conforms to ASRC Federal company standards.
- Intermediate knowledge and usage of MS Office Tool Suite.
- Individual must have strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple often competing requirements and meet strict deadlines.
- Strong critical thinking skills and be a motivated self-starter.
- Ability to work as a team player with both technical and management professionals.
- Individual must demonstrate a strong work ethic
- Individual must meet government and citizenship/permanent residency requirements for access to AFRL.

Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related field and 2-4 years of experience.

Clearance:
- Ability to obtain DOD Secret Clearance required.
