This position will be a hybrid role, requiring you to work on-site in Oklahoma City at the Mike Monroney Center on a weekly basis
Responsibilities:
- Research, design, development, testing, evaluation and maintenance of integrated computer hardware and software systems
- Responsible for computer systems architecture and integration, software programming, development, review, audit, testing, configuration management, requirements, and changes.
- Provide support utilizing languages such as C, C++ and Java.
- Provide scripting support using Perl, Shell, etc.
- Execute software projects with an understanding of full software design lifecycle from requirement gathering phase through production phase
US Citizenship or Permanent Residency required. All applicants must have resided in the United States for the past 3 years.
- Programming skills in C/C++ or other languages for embedded microprocessor systems desired
- Familiar with Linux, Unix, and Java programming languages are recommended
- Experience working in a team environment
- Good written and spoken communication including developing technical documentation
- Requires a minimum of 2 days in office per week
- Ability to pass an FAA background investigation
- Willing to travel (around 30%)
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Engineering
- 0-3 years of engineering experience
- Strong analytical skills, proven problem solving ability while being self-motivated in our team environment
- Experience developing creative solutions for hardware and software
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
