Allocator - Planning & Allocation

Ashley Stewart is on the lookout for a highly motivated and strategic Allocator with outstanding analytical and communication skills. The Allocator is responsible for effectively managing inventory levels to support Ashley Stewart’s sales and inventory plans. The Allocation team is highly collaborative and partners closely with a variety of cross functional teams.

What you’ll do:

• Allocate, analyze and manage inventory at the store level by effectively utilizing appropriate strategies to impact the financial success of selected departments.

• Evaluate needs at the store level: review on hand, on order, rate of sale, weeks of supply and in-stock levels.

• Execute the release of initial inventory and in season replenishment to stores.  This is achieved by evaluating needs at the store level: review in store inventory, on order, weeks of supply etc.

• Collaborate and partner closely with cross functional teams on distribution strategies to drive sales, gross margin and mitigate any inventory risk in season.

• Compile weekly reporting and develop thorough knowledge of store, district, and regional level performance through extensive data analysis.

• Analyze and recap store sales performance for transitional merchandise, select store buys, test items, etc. to identify where there are sales opportunities.

• Identify and determine additional store receipt requirements and recommend reorder quantities.

Who you are:

• Experienced in JDA and MS Office (Excel/Word/Outlook)

• Bachelor’s degree preferred

• 2+ years of analytical experience preferred

• A respectful & collaborative team player with strong communication and presentation skills

• A detail oriented & decisive multi-tasker who thrives in a fast-paced environment and adaptable to change
