Operations - Specialist, Clinical Applications Training
Job Summary:
The Clinical Applications Training Specialist will serve as an internal subject matter expert in use of the clinical applications to deliver quality care to our members. They will collaborate with Learning and Development to develop learning and providing training for the delivery of the applications content to operations support team members assigned to the centers and market launch teams. The team will continually be developing new training objectives as new functionality rolls out. The incumbent will serve as the Subject Matter Expert on clinical applications to all training colleagues responsible for training and supporting operational workflows aligned with elements of eCW, clinical applications, and workflows of their role. These individuals will “train the training” colleagues and will be accountable for all artifacts and knowledge management resources supporting the learning journey. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal and communication skills, have a deep understanding of operations and use of eCW and other clinical applications to accomplish key workflows, demonstrate a collaborative spirit and growth mindset, and will be passionate about developing training to equip colleagues for success.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Develop training documentation, provide training in all modalities, and support market-based colleagues with relevant applications and devices throughout the entire lifecycle of the workflow and technology.
- Serve as the internal subject matter expert for implementation of relevant applications and devices
- Collaborate with Products and Services, Learning and Development, and Clinical Education team members to create and maintain comprehensive workflow and technical end-user documentation for all operational workflows of ArchWell Health.
- Participate in core clinical systems upgrades and new functionality deployments which includes developing training and job aids, delivering training, and support.
- Serve as project support in delivering new capabilities, features and functionalities of clinical applications.
- Utilize workflow software to develop job aids and technical reference documents for operations colleagues to use in completing their work.
- Travel: 25% - 30%
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Knowledge of adult learning principles and training deployment strategies and principles
- SME level of expertise in eCW or comparable EMR software (technical interview will be required)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to exercise good interpersonal relations and be supportive of the philosophy and policies of the company
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision and as part of a team
- Strong oral communication skills, including the ability to speak clearly and persuasively, listen and ask for clarification when necessary, and respond informatively to colleague questions
- Strong written communication skills, including the ability to write clearly and concisely, vary writing style to meet specific needs, and present data effectively
- Ability to prioritize and plan work activities, use time efficiently, plan for additional resources, and set goals and objectives
- High level of professionalism, including approaching others in a polite and tactful manner, maintaining composure and reacting well under pressure, and treating others with respect and consideration

Education:
- Associates degree in computer science, business operations, healthcare administration or experience commensurate with educational requirements.
- 2-5 years of clinical, training, or support experience in EMRs, eClinicalWorks preferred
