Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned)

 

  • This role will oversee a broad range of functions, including collaborating with the HR team to manage all legal aspects of employment matters, including investigations, terminations, and dispute resolution.
  • Support organizational initiatives aimed at fostering an inclusive and legally compliant workplace culture.
  • Provide expert legal guidance on employment law, including Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) compliance, workplace policies, and employee relations.
  • Work together with leadership to structure and negotiate partnerships, joint ventures, and other strategic investments.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with vendors, contractors, service providers, and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with insurance carriers, brokers, and vendors to maintain effective relationships and resolve issues.
  • Stay current with federal and state regulations, including ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, and ERISA, to ensure compliance.
  • Support the annual benefits renewal and open enrollment processes.
  • Establish and administration of employee 401(k) plan, including reporting eligibility, preparing participant census data, and managing the 401(k)-audit process.
  • Supervise HR/Payroll team, consisting of two corporate HR representatives.
  • Analyze and report on benefits utilization and recommend improvements to enhance employee satisfaction and cost efficiency.
