$10,000 SIGN-ON BONUS

Location: Jamestown, ND

Shift: 4-5 Days a Week, Flexible Hours (No Weekends or Holidays)

Job Schedule: Part Time or Full Time

 

Weekly Hours: 24-40

 

JOB SUMMARY

 

The position of Respiratory Therapy Lead position is to coordinate the overall operations of the Respiratory Therapy Department and perform pulmonary assessments, testing techniques, treatment, case management, control, and care for infants, pediatrics and young adults with deficiencies and abnormalities of the cardiorespiratory systems. This position assesses and maintains respiratory equipment and supplies; and provides consultation to other staff in the care of these clients at all levels of care as well as education to staff and family members. 

 

QUALIFICATIONS (minimum requirements)

 

Education and/or years’ experience required:

  • Graduate of an accredited respiratory care program
  • Possess a current, unencumbered license from the State of North Dakota, as a Registered Respiratory Care Practitioner
  • 2 years of Respiratory Therapy experience
  • BLS certification.
  • Valid Drivers License

 

Preferred Skills and Abilities:

  • 3 – 5 years of Respiratory Therapy Experience
  • PALS certification
  • Experience with respiratory equipment such as CPT, suction, pulse oximeters, ventilators, HFNC, heated/cool mists, cough assist, CPAP/Bilevel, Oxygen analyzers, End tidal CO2 monitor, Bernoulli alarm system, concentrators, and nebulizers.

RESPONSIBILITIES (scope and complexity):

This position assumes the authority, responsibility and accountability for evaluating, modifying and coordinating respiratory treatment plans; evaluating equipment settings, making adjustments and recommendations as needed; and for completing diagnostic respiratory testing to and for the clients at ACC.
The Respiratory Therapist Lead will work with nursing staff and physician to best meet the respiratory and overall needs of the individuals served.
