Summary

Join our team and take on a challenging and innovative project to enhance our Positronic plating baths. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing an automated metering system, specifying the required equipment, and creating a process tank prototype. Your contributions will be vital in improving tank maintenance efficiency and chemical control.

Key Projects

  • System Development: Design and develop an automated chemical adjustment metering system for Positronic plating baths, ensuring precise and reliable chemical dosing.
  • Equipment Specification: Identify and specify the necessary equipment and components for the metering system, taking into account compatibility and reliability.
  • Prototype Development: Create a working prototype of the metering system for one process tank, refining and optimizing its performance.
  • Data Analysis: Conduct data analysis to compare the maintenance and chemical control processes before and after implementing the prototype system. Provide insights and recommendations based on the analysis.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of the system's design, development, and performance, ensuring clear records for future reference.

Requirements

Education:

  • Must be pursuing a degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.

Physical:

  • Must be able to sit, stand, walk, bend, stoop, twist, reach, and reach overhead.
  • Must be able to lift 0-10lbs occasionally.

Program Attendance:

  • May 19th- August 5th, 2025
