SUMMARY

Responsible for maintaining the daily cleanliness throughout the facility by performing daily, weekly and monthly assignments to include cleaning and stocking.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Clean cafeteria tables, floors and counters. Fills napkin holders, plastic ware dispensers and paper plates.
  • Clean and vacuum all conference rooms, replenishes visitor refrigerator as needed.
  • Clean all restrooms daily and monitors to ensure supplies are fully stocked.
  • Assists in measures to prevent slips, trips, falls, physical injury or unsafe acts within employers’ premises.
  • Orders and distributes janitorial and cafeteria supplies as needed.
  • Maintain an ascetically pleasing atmosphere of company image/facility.
  • Delivers morning beverage carts and noon lunches to customer meetings as needed.
  • Prepares coffee for employees every workday morning.
  • Maintains clean, organized work environment and adheres to all safety standards, procedures and regulations.
  • Adheres to all factory safety procedures and guidelines.
  • Contributes to team effort in a collaborative and supportive manner.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

Appropriate education and/or experience may be substituted on equivalent basis

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 6 months of previous work experience

 

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

  • None

 

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Conversational in any other language is a plus.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

As part of their job duties, the employee must be able to sit, stand, and walk throughout the day while frequently using their hands to handle objects and communicate verbally. Additionally, they may need to reach, stretch, push, pull, crouch, stoop, and occasionally lift objects weighing up to fifty (50) pounds. This role requires specific vision abilities, including close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS

  • ASTM F–2412–2005, ANSI Z41–1999, or ANSI Z41–1991 rated safety toe shoes in specific areas.
  • Clear ANSI Z87.1 safety-rated glasses in specific areas.
  • Hearing protection in specific locations.
  • Ability to compile with JSA in specific areas.
