NY Operations Specialist II - Document Execution

Purpose
The Document Execution Operations Specialist II works in the NY Foreclosure Department and is responsible for drafting documents such as Affidavit of Indebtedness, Consents to Change Attorney, Depositions, Oaths & Reports, and other pleadings as assigned. The processor will also correspond with clients, courts, prior counsel, and venders related to the specified pleadings. This position entails training new hires and workload distribution.
Specific Duties & Responsibilities

- Document review and retrieval for items necessary to proceed with drafting
- Drafting documents such as Affidavit of Indebtedness, Consents to Change Attorney, Oaths, Depositions, and other documents as assigned.
- Uploading documents to client for review, execution and return
- Document Retrieval which will include follow up communications with the Client, Referee or Counsel
- Receive document execution requests by client system, email, and by phone.
- Utilizing reports to follow-up and monitor impediments and escalations.
- Retrieve daily workloads from internal case management system and the various client systems
- Receive client, borrower, court, and prior counsel calls regarding specific pleadings.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Provide updates to clients on files in the team’s portfolio as needed.
- Update client electronic systems, including but not limited to BKFS, TEMPO, ADR, SSE, etc, for all New York Foreclosure matters.
- Assist with other duties and special projects as needed.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
- Minimum 1-2 years of foreclosure experience; 2+ years preferred. Experience with New York Foreclosure preferred
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (including Microsoft Excel) preferred, prior experience in foreclosure processing client systems preferred, previous law firm or loan processing experience preferred.
- Ability to type quickly and accurately, and proficiency with technology is a must.
