Position Summary:

The Albright Music Department is currently accepting applications for studio manager positions. We are looking for a self-motivated and detail-oriented student to keep our studio spaces (CFA 212 and 213) operating at a professional level.

Essential Job Functions:

  1. Maintain the studio’s overall appearance and functionality for daily use
  2. Manage studio reservations and reconciling schedule conflicts
  3. Schedule regular maintenance, repairs, replacements, and upgrades of studio equipment
  4. Track studio and equipment room inventory
  5. Create documentation for studio software and hardware

Work Environment:

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those encountered while performing the essential functions of this job. 

The individual is routinely exposed to indoor conditions, minimum outdoor weather and temperature extremes, and moderate noise level.

Qualifications/Prerequisites:

1.      SKILLS

a.      Excellent communication skills

b.      Ability to identify and address problems and create solutions

c.       Thorough knowledge of recording equipment and studio processes

d.      Strong interpersonal skills and comfortable talking one-on-one or in workshop scenarios

e.      Tech savvy and web literate

     a.      Albright Course prerequisites: MUS250 (required) and MUS251 (preferred)
