Bus Driver for Athletic Events
Albright College is seeking applications for a Bus Driver for Athletic Events. Responsibilities for this position include the safe and timely operation of vehicles which transport students, faculty and staff between various points of the College community, other designated locations, and to and from athletic contests. The driver is expected to promote a full participation and inclusive environment.
Essential Job Functions:
1.Drives bus to transport students, faculty, and staff to specified local or distant points according to time schedule.
2.Regulates heating, lighting, and ventilating systems for passenger comfort.
3.Complies with local traffic regulations.
4.May inspect bus and check gas, oil, and water before departure.
5.May load or unload baggage for passengers.
6.Maintains the bus in a safe and clean condition.
7.Other duties as assigned by the Program or facilities directors.
8.Professional communication skills with a diverse population required.
Qualifications/Prerequisites:
1.COMMUNICATION
a. Able to follow verbal and written instructions.
2.SKILLS

b. Fluency in Spanish preferred.
3.EMPLOYMENT EXPERIENCE
a. 2+ years’ experience as a driver
4.EDUCATION
a. High School Diploma/GED required
5.LICENSES
a. Commercial driver’s license with passenger endorsement
