Assistant Football Coach (Part-Time)

Albright College is seeking an Assistant Football Coach. For this part-time position, assist head coach with day to day operations of the program; on field coaching responsibilities; off campus and on campus recruiting; use of Front Rush; film breakdown and scouting report preparation; skill development of players; the Academic Studies program; assist with the football camp operations and all other duties as assigned by head coach. 

 

Essential Job Functions:

  1. Assist head coach with day to day football on field coaching.
  2. Recruit prospective student athletes on and off campus.  Evaluate player talent for recruits.
  3. Organize recruiting communications and campus visits.
  4. Set up and monitor student athlete academic sessions.
  5. Upload game film, breakdown game film and prepare scouting reports (both video and text).
  6. Assist with program fundraising.
  7. Assist with planning and implantation of summer football camps.
  8. Assist with team social media pages.
  9. Other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications/Prerequisites:

 

COMMUNICATION:

  • Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Knowledge of social media platforms and ability to maintain team pages.

SKILLS:

  • Playing and/or coaching football is necessary.
  • Fluency in Spanish is preferred.

EMPLOYMENT EXPERIENCE:

  • Coaching experience at high school or college level. 

EDUCATION: 

  • College degree or equivalent required.

LICENSES:

  • Drivers license required.
  • Child clearances required.
