The Territory Manager promotes and sells dermatopathology services to physicians, other specialized medical or healthcare providers. The applicant must be able to manage his/her territory in order to maintain existing referring physician groups and develop relationships with new physician groups to achieve corporate objectives.
As a member of the sales team, he/she will work closely with the Director of Sales and Chief Operating Offer to achieve corporate objectives. Will provide quality customer service, an in depth knowledge of the services being offered, as well as other internal personnel and resources to fit customer needs.
The primary responsibilities of this role are to:
- Market/sell Dermatopathology services
- Customer focused/building Positive Relationships
- Penetration of large accounts and identifying key decision makers.
- Creative thought process in developing a customer base and maintain the current customer base.
- Coordinate with residency programs to develop a pipeline of future business.
- Attend trade shows and conventions to promote organization and service.
- Create territory plan including goals and resource allocation.
- Proactive in seeking out potential customers.
- Handle expense reports.
- Utilize sales force as an IT tool.
Location
Position is based out of New Orleans, LA and will cover the following territory: State of Louisiana, Mississippi and Arkansas.
Experience
• B.S. Degree with 4 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and or experience.
• Prior and/or Business-to-Business sales experience, sales experience in Dermatology is preferred but not required
• Must have a Valid Driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to travel as necessary or required.
• Must be organized, self-motivated, and possess advanced business knowledge to meet/ exceed sales objectives.
• Proficient computer and software skills are needed to maintain and input sales territory records.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required when dealing with customers, fellow employees, and management.
