POSITION SUMMARY
Moves vehicles on the lot as directed.  Safely drives cars through the check-in
and arena areas as directed.
 
 
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Drives any vehicle make and model of standard and automatic
transmission that can be driven with a normal driver’s license.
Prepares paperwork necessary for on-lot or off-lot movement of vehicles.
Professionally communicates with customers.
Makes value judgments on vehicle safety and communicates to the
customer and the check-in coordinator.
Evaluate the general condition of each vehicle before being driven.
 
 
 
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
COMPETENCIES-
Accuracy – Able to perform accurately and thoroughly with minimal supervision.
Analytical skills – Able to think and reason to solve problems.
Detail-oriented – Able to pay attention to minute details.
Problem-solving – Able to determine if the problem is within their realm to solve or if they need to involve a check-in coordinator.
Must be comfortable driving in situations they may be unaccustomed to, such as multi-lane, urban situations, following detours, breakdown situations, etc.
 
  
EXPERIENCE-
Must like to drive, with a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
 
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Must be able to do many different tasks as directed, when directed. 
Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions.
Must be able to stand and/or walk for long periods.
Must be able to enter and exit all types of vehicles.
 
CERTIFICATIONS
Valid driver’s license.
 
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
 
Able to follow through on tasks with minimal supervision.
