Who we are looking for:
ACVMax is looking for a Business Analyst (Data) III to join our growing global team of analysts and Engineers focused on onboarding and supporting dealers on the ACVMAX platform. You will be working with the Product Support and Data Operations teams as well as a group of dedicated industry professionals to support some of the most advanced tools in the automotive retail industry.
What you will do (Responsibilities):

Understand dealer requirements and work with project managers to set up new integrations and onboard new dealers.

Understand and analyze large volumes of data to identify patterns for emerging problems or opportunities.

Troubleshoot complex data related problems and work with customers and engineering to bring them to resolution.

Write up requirements for missing features and functionality to send to engineering.

Quickly and accurately identify and address data quality concerns using SQL and other data compare tools.

Quickly and accurately apply data change requests within defined SLA using SQL or internal tools.

Document FAQs, how to articles, RCA documents and data flow diagrams for complex integrations.

Build reports and alerts to monitor data quality for our dealers.

Analyze data from REST and GraphQL APIs to assess data quality

Manage FTP set ups and day to day account set up and configurations.

Communicate effectively with Dealers, vendors, engineering and other operations teams to build trust and delight the customer.

Work directly with MAX users and partner with the MAX Support team to capture details of data quality concerns and understand use cases.

Obsess about the customer outcomes.
What you will need (Skills, Experience, Education):

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems other relevant areas or work experience focused in data analysis for 3 to 4 years.

Intermediate SQL Skills in writing performant DML SQL queries.

Expert knowledge of tools to transform and analyze JSON, CSV or Excel data to build insights or identify Root causes of a problem.

Strong organization skills including the ability to manage several projects/clients simultaneously without sacrificing quality, timelines, and user satisfaction.

Working knowledge of File transfer tools and protocols.

Experience working with RESTful and GraphQL APIs

Ability to write and execute test plans to manage risk to quality when production changes are made.

Is detail-oriented and curious to learn and grow.

Excellent written & verbal communication skills.

Ability to multitask and can stay calm under pressure and meet deadlines.

Basic scripting knowledge to automate tests
Nice to Have
-
Experience with business intelligence tools like Tableau, Google Studio, Power BI etc.

Ability to write Product requirements for Engineering when issues are escalated.

Background and knowledge within the Automotive technology sector.
