Who we are looking for:
The Sr Logistics Specialist is primarily responsible for driving the strategic coordination between dealer partners and the field inspection team through data driven decisions to maximize results. This role utilizes processes and procedures set by the logistics department to proactively manage the schedules of our inspector Teammates via our workforce optimization tool, ensure efficient routing to appointments, manage relationships with other departments to ensure customer requirements are being maintained, and use analyzed data to schedule field inspection teams efficiently. The Sr Logistics Specialist will work closely with the Field Analyst(s) to implement data driven decisions into the workforce optimization tool. The Sr Logistics Specialist reports directly to the Sr Manager, Logistics, and performs duties autonomously.
What you will do:
- Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
- Understand and utilize customer and inspector performance results to design and implement territory scheduling strategies to maximize sales.
- Drive and dispatch assignments to field staff using our workforce optimization tool, Field Service Lightning (salesforce product) and coordinate inspection services between internal and external customers using phone, email, and instant messages.
- Work closely with the Logistics Analyst to optimize inspector utilization through the use of tools such as Tableau, Excel, and Google Sheets.
- Confer with internal/external customers to resolve issues, answer requests, and provide ETAs.
- Engage and educate field leadership on scheduling approach, results, and other territory and regional initiatives.
- Review various reports to ensure service level agreements are handled competently and efficiently.
- Continuously review customer data and work with internal partners to prioritize and level customers based on results and strategy.
- Builds and maintains customer satisfaction with the products and services offered by the organization; provides excellent service to internal and external customers.
- Provide mentorship and support to Logistics Specialists as assigned
- Work closely with Territory Managers to ensure Field Service Lightning is set up to meet their territory’s needs and help drive FSL compliance
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

What you will need:
- High School Degree or equivalent required. Associate’s degree preferred.
- 3+ years’ logistics experience.
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
- Ability to analyze and understand how to use data to make business decisions
- Ability to handle difficult conversations and influence others
- Experience with Salesforce or Field Service Lightning preferred.
- Experience with logistics software and Microsoft Office or G Suite.
- Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated adaptability and willingness to learn and grow within the organization.
- Ethical and dependable, maintaining confidentiality in handling sensitive financial information.
- Self-motivated and proactive approach to tasks and responsibilities.
Compensation: $23-$26 per hour. Please note that final compensation will be determined based upon the applicant's relevant experience, skillset, location, business needs, market demands, and other factors as permitted by law.
