Closing Manager

We are currently searching for a Closing Manager. This position will oversee the closing process of all channels in regard to CD disclosures, funding and drawing loan documents. Use knowledge and experience to ensure compliance requirements and process. Meet or exceed production expectations by improving efficiency and accuracy.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Review loan documents for accuracy, completion, and compliance. Identify any missing or expired documents or incomplete items and address with appropriate department
- Prepare and generate closing packages ensuring all required information is accurate and all necessary documents are included
- Analyze loan documents and make a determination as to whether the loan meets all requirements to proceed with funding
- Works collaboratively to meet company goals and expectations to reach doc drawing of 6-8 files daily per employee and adheres to required time frames to ensure timely and accurate closings
- Prepare and validate the Closing Disclosure and closing loan documents
- Follow policies and guidelines when processing Initial Closing Disclosures (CD)
- Perform file reviews while adhering to regulatory compliance and time frames
- Engage with employees to resolve complex issues and escalate issues to the appropriate manager
- Remain current on closing/funding guidelines and compliance requirements
- Effectively communicates status and expectations to internal staff and management as required
- Monitor pipeline and balance workload accordingly and performs other duties as assigned
- Perform employee reviews as per Acra Lending Policy
- Production reporting to Director of Operations as requested
Supervisory Responsibilities
Directly supervise a team of employees. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

- Strong knowledge of wet/dry state closing requirements
- Strong knowledge of funding guidelines and procedure
- Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written form
- Strong time management skills to plan and organize a high daily loan volume•
- Strong ability to be very detail-oriented in a deadline driven environment
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Must be a team player and work constructively with fellow employees
Education and/or Experience
•Minimum 2 years of experience with state and federal lending regulations (i.e., ability to repay (ATR), RESPA, TRID, Fair Lending, etc.)
•Minimum 2 years in training and leading a team of staff members
•Computer literate with experience using Microsoft applications with mortgage industry standard software
