We are currently searching for a Senior Director of Operations. The Senior Director of Operations is responsible for responsible for managing the functions of the following positions: Disclosures, Account Managers, Loan Set Up, Funding and Document Drawers.
Responsibilities
- Manage and direct the activities of all assigned Departments and ensure a high level of production, compliance and customer service
- Establishes procedures for maintaining high standards of operations to ensure that products conform to established company quality standards
- Formulates and recommends policies and programs that guide the organization in maintaining and improving its competitive position and the profitability of the operation
- Interface with clients, executives, sales, title & escrow service providers and others to perform a variety of complex duties related to the production of loan documentation & preparation, underwriting and loan closings / fundings
- Acts as liaison between department management, as well as executive management modeling a collaborative work style
- Provides weekly reports regarding operations production and expected monthly funding volume
- Hires, trains, develops, and evaluates staff
- Takes corrective action as necessary on a timely basis and in accordance with company policy and Human Resources
- Ensures that all loans are processed, funded, and closed in accordance and consistent with Acra policy, credit approval, federal and state regulations, and implements processes, procedures, and controls to ensure appropriate division of duties is maintained at all times to avoid possible misuse of authority or fraudulent activity

- Proven analytical, problem solving, and process improvement ability

- Strong technical skills including Excel, Byte Pro, and Doc Velocity

Credentials and Experience Required
- Bachelor’s degree from a four-year university or college or equivalent work experience
- Mortgage industry experience is required
- Minimum of ten to fifteen years of progressively responsible professional and supervisory work experience in wholesale and retail loan operations
- Working knowledge of compliance issues and federal and state lending regulations
- Comprehensive knowledge of lending operations procedures and loan operating systems
Supervisory Responsibilities
Directly supervise a team of employees. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Pay Range: $110,000 - $120,000
