Intern - Process Engineering (Summer 2025)
As a Process Engineering Intern, you will collaborate with multiple departments to support special projects focused on optimizing throughput, conducting time and weight studies, and improving overall operational efficiency. This hands-on role provides valuable experience in analyzing and enhancing manufacturing processes.
What You Will Do At Acme:
- You will support and focus on projects related to finished goods throughputs, seeking out process improvements while completing a variety of studies within manufacturing environment.
Your Education & Experience:
- Prefer a Junior, Senior, or Graduate student pursuing a BS in Engineering or similar.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred but not required.
Your Skills & Abilities:
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Prior internship/co-op experience is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
- Work environment such as sitting on a computer working at a desk or prolonged periods of standing.
- Ability to work in cold (32 to 45F) and wet environment.
Health & Safety Requirements:
- Observe and follow all safety rules.
- Wear required PPE.
- Follow mandated OSHA regulations.
- Report all incidents including near misses immediately.
Compensation Range: $17.00 - $25.00/hr.
*This compensation range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
