The Data Analyst plays a pivotal role in gathering, analyzing, and interpreting complex datasets to support data-driven decision-making and optimize operations within the Supply Chain department and other business functions as needed. This role involves designing and developing detailed reports, dashboards, and visualizations, synthesizing insights from diverse data sources, and ensuring data accuracy and completeness throughout the analysis process.

The ideal candidate will have advanced proficiency in SQL coding, strong analytical skills, and a meticulous approach to verifying their work. They must consistently deliver high-quality, independent results with exceptional attention to detail.

 

What You Will Do At Acme:

  • Collect, organize, and maintain data from multiple internal and external sources, ensuring data quality, consistency, and reliability.
  • Design and produce dashboards and detailed reports that integrate data from diverse sources, enabling cross-functional insights and informed decision-making.
  • Develop and execute advanced SQL queries to analyze data, extract relevant insights, and effectively manipulate large datasets.
  • Perform regular data audits, leveraging statistical techniques and detailed validations to identify and prevent discrepancies.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for data models, analysis methodologies, and reporting protocols.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define data requirements, deliver actionable insights, and support strategic business objectives.
  • Develop, automate, and maintain Excel-based reports and other tools to monitor key supply chain KPIs and operational metrics.
  • Build and deploy interactive dashboards using visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI, presenting data in a clear and actionable format.
  • Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies, providing insights that drive strategic initiatives and process improvements.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to enhance data analysis processes, automate repetitive tasks, and improve reporting efficiency.
  • Collaborate with team members to validate data insights and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Present findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating complex analyses into practical business strategies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


About You
 
Your Education & Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in data analytics or a related field, with demonstrated expertise in SQL, data visualization, and large dataset management.
  • 5+ years of experience with data integration in the manufacturing, CPG industries or related field.
  • Experience in supply chain analytics, including familiarity with supply chain KPIs and operational metrics.

Your Skills & Abilities:

  • Expertise in writing and troubleshooting complex SQL queries to aggregate and analyze data from diverse sources.
  • Proficient in developing insightful and visually compelling reports using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar visualization software.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including mastery of pivot tables, advanced formulas, and data organization techniques.
  • Strong attention to data integrity, with robust validation and quality assurance capabilities to ensure accuracy.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically, synthesize data insights, and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Excellent communication skills, enabling clear and concise explanation of complex data findings to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Proven capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and consistently meet deadlines.
  • Solid understanding of supply chain processes and systems, including procurement, logistics, and inventory management.
  • Commitment to completing assigned training programs, including adherence to standard work practices.


Physical Requirements: 

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer for prolonged periods of time.
  • Occasional travel may be required for team meetings or training.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.

  • Report all incidents including near misses immediately.


Compensation Range:
  $120,000 - $158,000 annually. 

*This compensation range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
